Welcome To Our House
Community. Culture. Connection. A quiet place to return to.
Community. Culture. Connection. A quiet place to return to.
Soulbound House is a Japanese-inspired tea and meditation house in Ottawa's Glebe — designed for slowing down, spending time more intentionally, and remembering what presence feels like.
People come here to have tea with friends, read quietly, hold offline meetings, reflect, or simply breathe for a while. Phones stay away. Tea is always on. The pace is slower here.
Some visit alone for a weekly reset — the way others have a standing yoga class or sauna visit.
Others reserve time with friends, partners, or community groups, almost like a standing coffee date that actually feels restorative.
Some come after work to decompress. Some come with their spouse instead of going to a bar.
Some simply need a peaceful room to breathe for a while.
That's enough.
Sometimes a few people end up in quiet conversation. Sometimes someone reads aloud, or the room just sits together in silence for a while. None of it is scheduled or led by anyone — it's just what tends to happen when people share a room and slow down.
Come by. Bring a friend. Have some tea.
Since we're below street level, the door stays locked — just let us know you're coming and someone will let you in.
